While the FFXIV’s community is still waiting, pondering and speculating what the next expansion will have in store for everyone, SE and Capcom cooked a little crossover event. This news was dropped during this year E3, where players were told that these two giant (FFXIV and Monster Hunter World) will have a crossover with one another; for Final Fantasy XIV side, players will get the chance to prove their mettle against the King Of The Skies, Rathalos which will be made available to players that have completed the main story expansion–Stormblood and meet the minimum gear requirement. This eight-man raid will have the typical two tier, Normal Mode and Hard Mode. As usual, the Hard Mode of this raid will reward players with minion, a mount (you get to ride and fly around on Rathalos back), and gear (future glam). This patch will launch, next week Tuesday, August 7 as a part of patch 4.36 along with new Eureka map; The Pagos Expedition.
Oh, and there’s more for us actually, in addition to this little crossover patch, the next major story patch (patch 4.4) is coming soon in mid September and this was revealed during Letter From Producer Live Part XLV few weeks ago (July 16th). Players will get to see the continuation of the main story from the previous patch (which really, really left me hanging) along with the next part of the Four Lords side quest that will see players face-off with Suzaku, Even Further Hildibrand Adventures and two new dungeons; The Burn and Saint Moncianne’s Arboretum (Hard). Last but not least, the next installment of Omega challenge for Warriors of Light and companions; Omega: Alphascape.
Warriors Of Light, ready yourselves for another set of challenges, for the prelude to chaos is nigh approaching! (And now i need to renew my subs!).
